“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” How good it is to hear these words and to know they speak of us! There is NOT ONE SIN God holds against us, who are in Christ Jesus. This is not because God has turned a blind eye to our sin, or relaxed the demands of his law. No! The righteous requirement of God’s law has been fully met in Christ. And, through our union with him by the Spirit, the requirement of the law has been fulfilled in us also.
May the Spirit who dwells in all who believe in Christ Jesus, teach and assure us of this marvelous gospel truth, and guide us as we walk, not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
